About the series
Kensington Market is a haven of fresh fruit, vegetables, and dry good stores. Some of the city’s best produce and meat shops are found on these cramped little streets. The original market dates back to British settlement in the 1790’s making it a National Historic Site of Canada. This poster is an abstract geometric aerial view featuring Augusta Avenue, Denison Square, and the tight alleys and laneways that make the area so unique. This poster was designed by Toronto-based designer Ryan Bannon. Printed at Kid Icarus, Kensington Market.
